A small, solid devotional piece that earns its place on a desk, nightstand, or home altar. This standing Saint Benedict crucifix is cast in metal with a warm old-gold finish and carries the Saint Benedict medal at the foot of the cross — the medal long associated with blessing, protection, and the prayer "May the Holy Cross be my light."
At 5.1 inches tall, it's substantial enough to feel like a real keepsake yet compact enough to travel, tuck onto a bookshelf, or set in a child's room as a first devotional piece. The freestanding footed base keeps it upright without mounting or hardware, so it's ready to display straight out of the box.
It makes an easy, thoughtful gift for a Confirmation, First Communion, Baptism, RCIA, a house blessing, or a wedding — and a fitting gesture for a priest, deacon, godparent, or anyone with a devotion to Saint Benedict.

Saint Benedict of Nursia (c. 480–547) is the father of Western monasticism and the author of the Rule that still guides Benedictine communities today. His medal is one of the oldest and most recognized sacramentals in the Church, traditionally used in blessings and as a sign of protection against evil. His feast is celebrated on July 11.
