A delicate rose-scented resin incense honoring Saint Anthony of Padua, the Franciscan preacher invoked across the Catholic world as the finder of lost things and, in Portuguese-speaking countries, as the saint of marriages.

The fragrance is built around a soft, elegant rose composition at a low 2/5 intensity — suited to personal devotion, novenas, weddings, and quiet prayer rather than to large processions. The understated character makes it equally at home at a bedside altar, a parish chapel, or a marriage blessing.

Saint Anthony was born in Lisbon around 1195 as Fernando Martins de Bulhões. He began religious life as an Augustinian canon and joined the young Franciscan order after the martyrdom of the first Franciscans in Morocco moved him to seek the same path. He preached across Italy and southern France, taught theology at Bologna with Francis of Assisi's blessing, and died at Padua in 1231 at the age of thirty-five. Pope Pius XII declared him a Doctor of the Church in 1946. His feast on June 13th is one of the largest popular religious festivals in both Portugal and Brazil.
