The blend is presented in pale blue and white grains that echo the mantle and vestments traditionally associated with the image: the blue cloak and the white inner garment that Marian iconography reads as signs of heaven and of purity. At a low 2/5 intensity, the lily scent stays close and gentle, suited to Marian devotion, family prayer, and small chapels rather than to large processional use.
Our Lady of Nazareth takes her title from the home of the Holy Family and from the moment of the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel greeted Mary in Nazareth and she gave her consent to become the Mother of God. The devotion is especially strong in Portugal and in the north of Brazil: the Círio de Nazaré in Belém do Pará, held on the second Sunday of October, is one of the largest Marian processions in the world and draws millions of pilgrims each year. The original image venerated there is a small wooden statue of medieval Portuguese origin, brought to the Amazon in the eighteenth century.
