An elegant, sophisticated resin incense honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, composed at a measured 3/5 intensity.

The blend is built around a refined, restrained character rather than a single dominant note — a fragrance suited to Marian devotion in both the parish church and the home altar. The grain colors of the composition echo the symbolism of Juan Diego's tilma: the cloak still preserved at the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City on which the image of the Virgin appeared in December 1531.

The Guadalupe apparitions took place over four days in December 1531 on the hill of Tepeyac, just north of what is now Mexico City. The Virgin appeared to the indigenous convert Juan Diego, speaking to him in his native Nahuatl, and asked that a church be built on the site. As the sign requested by the local bishop, she filled Juan Diego's tilma with Castilian roses out of season and, when he opened the cloak before the bishop, left her image impressed on the rough agave-fiber garment. Pope Pius XII declared her Patroness of the Americas in 1945; Pope John Paul II extended her feast to the entire continent and canonized Juan Diego in 2002. Her feast falls on December 12.
