Our Lady of Aparecida Mini Incense Kit

The mini companion to the Aparecida Luxury Kit. The blue grains with gold drops echo the mantle of Nossa Senhora Aparecida; the resin was first used by Pope Benedict XVI at the canonization Mass of Friar Galvão in May 2007 and has since been used at Mass inside Saint Peter's Basilica. The statue was pulled from the Paraíba do Sul river in October 1717 by three local fishermen — Domingos Garcia, João Alves, and Filipe Pedroso — who had been fishing without success until the figure of the Virgin emerged from the water. The image is enshrined today in the Basilica of Aparecida, the second-largest Catholic basilica in the world. Pope Pius XI declared her the official patroness of Brazil in 1930.
