A premium glazed blue ceramic resin incense burner shaped as the mantle of Our Lady of Aparecida. The body forms the cloaked silhouette of the Virgin, with the lid serving as the head — lift it to place a charcoal disc and resin in the chamber; smoke rises through the opening. The deep blue glaze references the traditional color of the Marian mantle.

About Our Lady of Aparecida: the image refers to a small dark-clay statue of the Virgin Mary recovered in 1717 by three fishermen from the Paraíba do Sul river. She was declared the principal patroness of Brazil by Pope Pius XI in 1930. Her sanctuary in Aparecida, São Paulo, is one of the largest Marian basilicas in the world.
