A mini devotional kit honoring the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, pairing 0.7 oz of musk-scented resin incense with 6 quick-light charcoal tablets and mini tongs.
The blend rests on a single soft note of musk, a quiet powdery character chosen to echo the dogma it celebrates: Mary's preservation from original sin from the first moment of her conception. The kit is built for personal prayer on the December 8 feast and for the daily Marian devotions — the rosary, the litany of Loreto, the Three Hail Marys — that the Immaculate Conception has anchored in Catholic piety for centuries.
The dogma was defined by Pope Pius IX on December 8, 1854 in the apostolic constitution Ineffabilis Deus, four years before Mary identified herself at Lourdes to Bernadette Soubirous with the words "I am the Immaculate Conception." The Immaculate Conception is the patroness of the United States, of Brazil, and of many countries across the Catholic world.
