Catholic Advent Family Kit 2026, Printable PDF

A printable Advent kit for Catholic families, dated for Advent 2026 (November 29 to December 24). Print it at home, cut, color and pray together through the four weeks before Christmas.

WHAT'S INSIDE (22 pages, US Letter)

• 6 Advent wreath cards: a blessing for the first night, a prayer for each Sunday, and a guide to which candles to light each week
• A daily tracker for all 26 days, with the Mass readings for each day and a short reflection a child can follow
• A Jesse Tree guide with the 26 stories and their Scripture references
• 26 Jesse Tree ornaments to cut out and color, plus a title ornament and a blank one to draw your own
• 8 coloring pages: the Advent wreath, Zechariah in the Temple, the Annunciation, the Visitation, John the Baptist, Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Nativity and the Wise Men

HOW IT WORKS

Light the wreath and read the card together each Sunday. On the other days, read the Gospel from the tracker, share the reflection, and hang that day's Jesse Tree ornament. The whole routine takes about ten minutes.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Readings follow the USCCB calendar for Advent 2026 (Year B). Scripture is cited by reference, so you read from your own Bible.
• The prayers and reflections are original to this kit.
• Six coloring pages use engravings by Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld (1860, public domain). They are detailed and suit ages 8 and up. The wreath and Our Lady of Guadalupe pages are simpler for younger children.
• A few pages have QR codes to short guides on our blog about the Advent wreath and the Jesse Tree.
• Also available in Spanish and Portuguese in our shop.
